But the luscious and feisty Billie has decided to take a hiatus from men, after experiencing a disastrous relationship. As a highly regarded tattoo artist, Billie is an astute business woman who thinks dating her landlord is a colossally bad idea. But because she can’t deny her attraction to Colby, or to his adorable four year old daughter, she agrees to spend time with him on a strictly undating basis. Only it doesn’t take long for Billie to learn that friends can also be lovers. However, neither of them is prepared for the ghost from Colby’s past that threatens their happiness.
The dynamic duo of Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland has again hit it out of the park with a love story that takes you on a wild emotional ride. It’s tender and funny, poignant and heartbreaking, sensuous and chilling and occasionally, even threatening, but I can promise you this. You’ll never be bored reading “The Rules of Dating.” Five stars.
