Bared Tatas on a Nude Beach are “Inappropriate”? If not there, then where?

Ireland St. James was indignant at being summarily fired after nine years as a popular on-air personality, especially when it was for “inappropriate behavior” while on vacation on a private island in the Caribbean with her girlfriends. The inappropriateness of her behavior was directly related to being filmed topless (on a topless beach no less).

All this was brought to her boss’s boss’ attention, CEO Grant Lexington when, in a badly inebriated state, she emailed him and unloaded her disdain. He admired her cheek (and her sultry mouth) and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.

The chemistry between them could light up the Las Vegas strip, but they never let their oversized egos get in the way of a good roll in the hay. Ireland worried about protecting her heart and Grant, for all his coolness and bravado, was as soft as a marshmallow underneath his gruff business exterior. This richly layered romantic extravaganza is oh so satisfying on an emotional level and the dialogue is more than merely clever. It’s brilliant.

“Inappropriate” by Vi Keeland is exactly why she’s become one of my all-time favorite authors. Her writing style is impeccable and her characters have hearts as big as the Grand Canyon. If you’re looking for a richly rewarding romantic read, you cannot go wrong with this one. Five gold stars!
